With her Masters of Divinity from Yale, Reverend Jane Quandt served churches in Connecticut, Virginia and Riverside, CA before moving to Lompoc to serve as Pastor of Valley of the Flowers United Church of Christ. She loves to cook and she is NOT a fan of snakes.

Jane and her husband Dick moved from the midwest to Santa Barbara,California, in 1974. They then moved to Lompoc in 1987. Jane was a middle school and elementary school teacher who retired after 31 years of teaching. She currently spends her time volunteering at Valley Haven, the Lompoc Library, and helping in the garden and classrooms at Miguelito Elementary School.

A Masters prepared Registered Nurse - retired and still volunteering with Red Cross and Medical Reserve Corp. She is active in St. Mary’s Church, Rancho Purisima DAR and local volunteer opportunities. She loves golf, travel, friends and her big beautiful family.

Mary Lou Parks has been a Board Member since 2014. She assisted in getting Valley Haven to open a satellite program here in Lompoc as an extension to the program in Santa Ynez valley in 2,000. Mary Lou is a retired R.N. with a Masters in Gerontology. She was hired by Senior Concerns in Thousand Oaks in 1978 to set up their newly funded So

She was hired by Senior Concerns in Thousand Oaks in 1978 to set up their newly funded Social day program, worked for Wise Senior Services in Santa Monica in charge of Care Management Services and after moving back to Lompoc she worked for Lifenet in Santa Barbara and then provided conservatorships in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
